During covid, choices were very limited & safe travel became an issue. We're sailing in August, 2021. Haven't found a shuttle from SEA to Pier 91. Suggestions?? Thanks in advance.

When I did the Alaska cruise (September 2017) we took a limo service from the airport to a hotel across the street from the port. I wish I could remember the name of the service, it was the only business I've ever seen that had ALL 5 star reviews on Yelp, and they deserved it. Taxis from the port to the airport, and the other way around, were a flat $40, but it may have gone up a bit since then. If you're flying home the same day the cruise ends, you can check your luggage on the ship, and you won't have to bother with it until you get to your home airport. This is a free service, and I think Seattle is the only city that does it. The only catch is that you have to be in the first group off the ship, the city of Seattle wants you spending time and thus money before you leave. There is plenty to do in walking distance from the port.

Princess (and others) offers a bus shuttle service from/to SeaTac, a bit pricey, but very convenient with luggage taken care of. Sometimes you even get a driver who likes to play tour guide and get a "free" tour included, that is fun 
! Pier 91, that is a LONG drive through the most congested area (no place to easily build more road) of Seattle.

You didnt mention which cruise line you're using, but all the big ones offer regular bus service from the airport...you said "SEA"...I don't know if you're downtown or coming from the airport which is commonly known as SEATAC. Of course theres UBER. or a yellow cab...thats usually the most expensive...Its been my experience that the hotels/motels that offer that service are sometimes one way, and not necessarily free...(be sure to ask, and I mean CALL them..don't rely on emails and websites) and the # of vehicles they actually have is limited...so you may need to make a reservation to use one...be prepared to share....
We've made that run, and used the bus. As far as "safe" well....as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...wear a mask for the journey to and from, and the usual zoo at the terminal.., and bring a small bottle of sanitizer for your pocket or purse...I assume you've had your shots...if you didn't, well the embarcation process in SEA hasn't reverted to the stone age. You'll have to "prove" it"....and the experience onboard WILL be different....GL2U, and ask as many questions as you like.
