2020 ZENITH cruises cancelled

I was notified today by Pullmantur that my January, 2020 Canary Islands cruise aboard ZENITH has been cancelled, as have scores of other ZENITH cruises, stretching over a period of many months. I wonder what has happened to the ship. There's nothing on the Pullmantur website and I've seen no mention of these cancellations on other cruise industry sites.

It was at one time but then they sold off 51% stake in it. Looks like they still own a chunk of it but not all.

Isn't Pullmantur fall under the RCL international business line?

And there’s this from Cruise Industry News, dated July 1, 2019:

They’re planning on selling the ship early 2020.

So weird to hear the name Zenith again, that was my parents' first cruise ever in 2000 when it was still with Celebrity.

Makes sense if the fleet is for sale. Sounds like the competition is getting tough with all the new behemoths and it is hard to compete with older ships offering less amenities and no balconies.

Pause for thought for sure.

That YouTube video shows all four Pullmantur ships (their entire fleet) as being up for sale, so I'm not sure where the information came from...

Thank you though.

I saw a video of 40 cruise ships that are for sale on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jHz-x5lTXI not sure where they got the information, but the Zenith was on the list.
