Just my opinion. If you have the time and the finances, spend at least two+ days in London prior to your cruise.

My top recommendations:

1 - The British Museum. See where so much of the World's history is/was displayed/stolen.

2 - The Globe Theatre. Shakespeare the way it was originally performed. (i had seats next to the Queens box)

3 - Stonehenge. Try for the sunrise or sunset tours INSIDE the circle of stones. So special

4 - Le Mis. See a live performance of this fascinating musical celebrating its 38th year of production.Stall seats.
