It was a spectacular trip! The boat was well maintained and the combination of ports of call with the Egyptologists made for a very educational trip! by notwork

This was a complete immersion in Egypt culture. LOVED IT! One can tell the country does not feel completely safe to travel alone. Viking prioritized our safety AT ALL TIMES!! This was super important to us. Having their own dock and a heavy police presence at each port put us at ease. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!!

Viking’s Egypt cruises are beyond excellent. This is quite possibly the best trip - land tour or a cruise - that I’ve been on. The itinerary was sublime - from start to finish. Worth every penny. Dare I say, Viking should charge more for this cruise.

I was very nervous about going to the Middle East given the war in Israel. I was pleasantly surprised at the high level of security that we encountered on this trip. There was a tourist police escort for the bus and a police officer on board with us. I felt safe on the trip. The Egyptologists that Viking has for the entire river tour was so beneficial. The level of knowledge they have and want to share about the sites was wonderful. The other benefit is you got to know the guide and vice versa. It was a real benefit to have the continuity of an educated specialist in Egypt history. This way you always got new information and not repetitive due to changing tour guides.

This was an outstanding trip. I believe this is the way to see the most of Egypt in a short amount of time. You will absolutely be tired on this trip but the intent is not relaxation. The staff at Viking are consistently second to none and always make you feel at home. Viking Osiris was the cleanest and most updated ship that I’ve been on I really like the newer design.
