Carnival Breeze

September 2018 - 6 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Breeze

Not the same as the 1st time

We went on the Carnival Breeze back in 2016 and we had such an awesome time that we decided to book it again. The 2nd time around wasn't as fun as the 1st time. The cruise director is nothing compared to Matt (previous cruise director). Water slides were closed once due to an "accident" and the main pool was also closed once due to another "accident". They were both closed on sea days. I have never had so much movement on a boat like this one. The entire cruise the boat was moving like crazy and we didn't even have bad weather. Our stateroom was located on the front of deck 6, right above the Ovation Theater...I wish I knew that before booking this room. We could hear the shows EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. This cruise was the 1st one leaving from its new home port (Port Canaveral). When we boarded, our room TV wasn't working. They did fix it the same night, but they kept asking if we did something wrong to the TV because "supposedly" it was working on the previous cruise back in Texas. I was bothered by this. We had to ask for water glasses and ice every night because our steward never kept these stocked. To wash our hands on the cabin, we had to use our shower soap..they ran out of hand soap. Food was great!! No complain about that. I do wish they had someone else serving Guy's burger on day 4 of the cruise. This person was bothered of the long line, literally threw the burger in the plate and never added the additional toppings you requested ahead of time. My burger buns were all wrinkled and super shiny from all the grease/fat he had on this gloves. Didn't even eat my burger that day. We heard a lot of engine noise in the Sapphire dinning, and while we were in our cabin on deck 6.
