Sail date: September 19, 2015
Overall could have been better.
Communication was an issue since I reported before my cruise I had an allergy to down linens, this was not communicated to the ship service which left me with two days of allergy issues to get this settled. The biggest complaint I have is with the comedy club, you get there early for seating to see both shows only to be told you have to leave after the 1st one and get back in line to come in again, it didn't matter if you had a handicap or issues with standing etc. Since smokers are not allowed to smoke on balconies and restricted to certain floors the main floor where most of the attractions are, its filled with smoke most of the time (need a filtration or ventilation system). We were never introduced to our room stewart, even though we had Faster to the fun which made it a problem getting the linen issue resolved sooner. If you buy alcohol it's not given back to you until you've already packed ( if you they can find it), so you have to wait until you leave the ship pick up your luggage then repack (unless you purchased express) what a pain. We've been on several Carnival cruises but is seems the last two has gone down hill. The wait staff was great and guest service really tried to be helpful, but overall in relations to past trips it could have been a lot better.
Home sweet home was the best excursion.
take a taxi to new san juan, everything is in walking distant and it by the beach.
