Oceania Shares New Features & Dining Venues on Vista

Oceania Cruises has announced details of the restaurants and dining experiences on its new luxury, Allura class ship Vista. The vessel is slated to make its official debut in early 2023. Vista will offer twelve total eateries. Of the twelve, four are brand new and exclusive to Vista.

"Vista will present a fresh perspective on the finest cuisine at sea with an astounding array of dining options that range from informal to the extravagant," stated Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises. "We have never been content to rest on our laurels, so even the expected has become the unexpected. A dramatic re-inspiration of every dining space from décor to table setting to menu offerings has resulted in a new pinnacle of diversity and creativity for our guests to enjoy.”

Ember: Ember is a signature restaurant in the Oceania Cruises fleet. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant will serve a menu of inventive American classics. Braised Short Ribs on polenta, grilled swordfish, crab cakes, and a Cobb salad are a sample of the items which will be served at Ember.

Aquamar Kitchen: This restaurant will focus on wellness and healthy cuisine. Menu selections include cold-pressed raw juices, hearty homemade granolas and avocado toasts, slow-roasted salmon, and yellowfin tacos.  

The Grand Dining Room: This eatery is the “luxurious grand dame of Oceania Cruises' culinary world.” Each day this space will offer an array of options, from signature Jacques Pépin classics to an incredible spectrum of global flavors and an all-new Executive Chef's Tasting Menu. Dishes change daily with an expansive choice of at least 10 appetizers, soups and salads and 10 dinner entrées. 

Polo Grill: This is the classic steakhouse experience of Vista. Think timeless decor, white table cloths, and time-honored classic beef and fish dishes. 

Toscana: Serving up Tuscan-inspired cuisine, Toscana is an elegant Italian dining experience that is a step above the rest. A sample of dishes includes octopus carpaccio with Champagne vinaigrette, artichoke and parmesan cheese timbale with black truffle sauce, hand-rolled gnocchi with pesto, risotto with lobster medallions and shallots, and pan-seared sea bass filet. 

Red Ginger: This restaurant will feature a menu inspired by Thai, Korean, Japanese, and Malaysian dishes. Sample spicy roast duck, Malaysian beef Penang, Thai curry vegetables, as well as many other Pan-Asian flavors. 

Terrace Café: This space is the ultimate informal dining option for any time of day, including both an indoor dining room as well as an alfresco area with shaded tables on a stylish terrace.

Waves Grill: Waves Grill is a casual, colorful dining venue serving all-American favorites. Located steps from the swimming pool and Terrace Café, Waves Grill offers an extensive and mouthwatering menu during lunch through the afternoon. 

The Culinary Center: Here, guests may not only partake in lively hands-on cooking instruction, they also can enjoy their creations in the space's own Culinary Center Dining Room. This area will offer private group dinners and food and wine pairing experiences.

Priveé: This special space offers intimate culinary celebrations for a maximum of 10 guests. Dramatic backlit, debossed walls and a blooming flower petal ceiling from which a chandelier descends over the polished marble slab dining table, will set the stage for a memorable evening.

Baristas: This space will serve up espressos and cappuccinos with offers commanding 270-degree views over the sea. 

Bakery: Just down from the Library, you will find the Bakery offering fresh-baked French and Italian pastries. Grab a treat and gaze out at the expansive blue seas. 

Oceania Cruises will next unveil more details of Suite accomodations on Vista. Vista’s inaugural season itineraries will be announced on September 9, 2021, and go on sale beginning September 15, 2021.
