Oceania Cruises to Sail from Tampa in 2026
Oceania Cruises has announced that it is adding a range of Caribbean and Panama Canal winter sailings in early 2026 departing from Tampa onboard Insignia. The cruise line will make history when these sailings begin in March 2026, as it becomes the first luxury operator to sail from Port Tampa Bay.
In the coming season, Oceania will offer a variety of seven- to 20-night Caribbean cruises from Tampa. Voyages will visit picturesque locales including St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Tortola, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Belize City. Select itineraries include a daylight transit of the Panama Canal and an overnight stay in Panama City.
"Port Tampa Bay represents an exciting new chapter as Oceania Cruises becomes the first ultra-premium cruise line to have dedicated voyages from Tampa, opening the door as a convenient gateway to Florida's west coast and the Gulf of Mexico," said Frank A. These newly-announced voyages can be easily accessed by the 41 non-stop flights offered from Tampa International Airport. Tampa offers a vibrant culinary scene that makes for a great pre- or post-cruise destination where travelers can enjoy Michelin Guide restaurants and immersive culinary tours.

Onboard Insignia, travelers will enjoy Oceania Cruises' relaxed yet refined luxury and an elegant home-away-from-home ambiance. Insignia accommodates 670 guests and is served by a team of 400 crew members. The ship boasts gourmet specialty restaurants Polo Grill and Toscana, the Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center, a sports deck, an expansive top-of-ship library, vibrant lounges and bars, as well as a casino.
Following are Oceania’s newly-announced Insignia itineraries from Tampa:
- Tropical Harmony (February 22 - March 3, 2026) - Sails 9 days from Bridgetown to Tampa, with visits to Oranjestad (Aruba), Montego Bay, Costa Maya, and Cozumel.
- Leeward Isles Serenade (March 3 - 18, 2026) - 15 days, roundtrip from Tampa with visits to San Juan (Puerto Rico), St. Thomas, Philipsburg (St. Maarten), St. John's (Antigua), Roseau (Dominica), Basseterre (St. Kitts), Frederiksted (St. Croix), and Tortola (British Virgin Islands).
- Western Caribbean Escape (March 18 - 25, 2026) - 7 days, roundtrip from Tampa, to Cozumel, Belize City, Roatan (Honduras), and Costa Maya.
- Palms & Panama Canal (March 25 - April 4, 2026) - 10 days, roundtrip from Tampa to Panama City. Visits Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, Roatan (Honduras), Puerto Limon (Costa Rica), Colon (Panama), Panama Canal Daylight Transit, and an overnight stay in Panama City.
- Panama Canal Connoisseur (March 25 - April 14, 2026) - 20 days from Tampa to Miami, with visits to Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize City, Roatan (Honduras), Puerto Limon (Costa Rica), Colon (Panama), Panama Canal Daylight Transit, one overnight stay in Panama City, Panama Canal Daylight Transit, Cartagena (Colombia), Willemstad (Curacao), Oranjestad (Aruba), Montego Bay, and George Town (Grand Cayman).
