MSC Cruises to be Part of “F1” Movie from Apple Original Films
MSC Cruises has announced they have partnered with “F1,” the highly anticipated Formula 1 racing feature coming from Apple Original Films. The movie will be released in theaters and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures in June 2025.
The MSC Cruises’ logo will be featured in the movie, including on the fictional APXGP car and team kit, as well as on the track at the races included in the storyline.
The highly anticipated movie stars Brad Pitt as a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris as his teammate at APXGP, a fictional racing team. The film was shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport. The cast also includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.
MSC Cruises has established itself as a Formula 1 Global Partner, with a multi-year deal running through to the end of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. According to the cruise line the partnership, “brings together two global leaders in their respective fields to drive change through their shared passion for excellence, sustainability, and global entertainment.”
Earlier this year, MSC Cruises served as the title sponsor of the ‘MSC Cruises Japanese Grand Prix’ at the Suzuka track in Japan, as well as the ‘Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna 2024’ in Imola, Italy.
