MSC Cruises Announces Two 2024 Formula 1 Title Sponsorships
MSC Cruises has announced it will be the title sponsor of two 2024 Formula 1 World Championship Grand Prix - The Japanese Grand Prix and The Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna.
April 5-7, 2024, MSC Cruises will serve as the title sponsor to the ‘MSC Cruises Japanese Grand Prix’. This fourth race of the season will take place at the legendary Suzuka track in Japan.
From May 17–19, 2024, MSC Cruises will be the title sponsor of the ‘Formula 1 MSC Cruises Gran Premio dell’Emilia Romagna 2024’ at the famous racetrack in Imola, Italy.
The MSC Cruises brand name will be a major part of these iconic Formula 1 Grand Prix events. This is in addition to the track branding which is part of the cruise line’s global sponsorship of Formula 1 through the end of 2026.
MSC Cruises has been a partner with Formula 1 since 2022. As a part of this, the cruise line positions ships port-side during select F1 races so guests onboard can hear the excitement and go ashore for closer race viewing. This past July, MSC Cruises celebrated its first title sponsorship at the Formula 1 MSC Cruises Belgian Grand Prix 2023.
According to the cruise line, “This latest expansion in the collaboration between the two world-class brands is in line with the increased interest in Formula 1 around the world and the growing popularity of cruising as a vacation option that offers incredible value. The two brands share common goals when it comes to driving sustainable change while shaping the future of their respective industries and leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.”
