MSC Cruises Reveals Seven Districts Coming to MSC World America
MSC Cruises today revealed new details about its upcoming flagship vessel, MSC World America. The new ship will feature seven distinct districts, allowing guests of all ages to choose their own vacation experience.
MSC World America is slated to enter service in Miami come April 2025. The ship will offer 7-night Caribbean itineraries for its inaugural season, sailing to destinations in the Eastern and Western Caribbean, with stops at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s own private island in The Bahamas.
Following is a look at each of MSC World America’s seven districts.
MSC Yacht Club
MSC Cruises’ signature ship-within-a-ship experience on MSC World America will offer a private and secluded retreat. The MSC Yacht Club will offer privacy, exclusivity, and luxury in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
Guests staying within the MSC Yacht Club receive 24/7 butler service, priority embarkation and disembarkation, and exclusive lounge and dining areas.
Family Aventura
Families can enjoy their dedicated district of fun at the Family Aventura, located on MSC World America’s top deck. This space centers around The Harbor, an outdoor park where families can play, grab drinks and snacks, and soak up the sun. The Harbor will offer a high ropes course and a state-of-the-art attraction (that is to be the first of its kind at sea), along with a family area and a playground modeled after the lighthouse at Ocean Cay.
Family Aventura is also home to Doremiland, the action-packed kids' area with facilities for babies to teenagers. This district will also offer bumper cars, a roller rink, high-thrill water slides, and a dry slide.
Aqua Deck
The Aqua Deck will be the go-to destination for the ultimate pool day at sea. Here, guests will find two main pools surrounded by a versatile deck featuring a theme that will change throughout the day. Expect wellness offerings and a tranquil atmosphere in the morning, upbeat and entertaining vibes throughout the afternoon, followed by parties at night.
Zen Area
Located high up on the stern of MSC World America will be the adults-only Zen Area, an exclusive enclave for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The Zen Area is an ideal spot for quiet sunbathing or swimming in the twin pools, as you watch the surrounding ocean.
Galleria
The Galleria is to be the bustling district at the heart of the ship. This space is lined with dining options, shopping, and more. Enjoy live music at the Dolce Vita Bar, coffee and sweet treats at Jean Philippe Chocolat & Café, or grab-and-go options around the clock at Luna Park Pizza & Burger.
The Galleria will also include the MSC Luna Park Arena, a high-tech entertainment venue that will host themed parties and gameshows.
The Terraces
The Terraces district will offer nine restaurants and bars, four retail shops, and a space that is part comedy club, dueling pianos, and late-night karaoke.
This is a round-the-clock district. Guests can start their day by grabbing a smoothie at the juice bar, browse in the shops in the afternoon, enjoy dinner in one of the five specialty restaurants in the evening, and then end the day with DJ sets and laugh-out-loud comedy.
Promenade
The lively outdoor Promenade on MSC World America will be a vibrant space with spectacular views, framed by the ship’s spiral architectural masterpiece—the thrilling 11-deck dry slide.
At the Promenade, guests can enjoy the authentic Emporium coffee bar by day, and at night enjoy the dining and other evening activities.
