MSC Cruises Upcoming Ship MSC World America to Sail from Miami in 2025
MSC Cruises has announced their upcoming new mega-ship MSC World America is headed to Miami in April 2025.
MSC World America is the second ship in MSC Cruises’ World class of vessels, and will be the cruise line’s third LNG-powered ship (the first in North America). The ship will be optimized for North American cruisers with new restaurants, public spaces, and onboard experiences.

MSC World America has a new look, similar to MSC World Europa, with a signature plumb bow rising vertically from the waterline and Y-shaped aft that opens onto the impressive outdoor World Promenade. The vessel will span an impressive 22 decks, and measure more than 150 feet wide. Onboard, guests will find 2,626 cabins and more than 420,000 square feet of public space to explore.
Following are highlights of the top-of-the-line features and facilities of MSC World America:

World Promenade: This re-imagined outdoor space offers dining, lounging, and entertainment options, paired with ocean views and an LED light show. This area will also be home to an 11-story Dry Slide made of stainless steel, a great way to get from the top to the bottom of the ship quickly!
World Galleria: This indoor area offers bars, restaurants, shops, and boutiques.
13 Total Dining Options:
- Six specialty restaurants, with two new concepts alongside guest favorites like Butcher’s Cut and Hola! Tacos and Cantina.
- Four main restaurants and two buffet options.
- Luna Park Pizza & Burger, a casual 24/7 fast-food spot located next to Luna Park in the World Galleria.
- 20 total bars and lounges, including the Sports Bar – a new bar concept with sports memorabilia, TVs for watching games, as well as beers and bar foods. Also new will be the Comedy Club, which will have comedy shows as well as dueling piano performances. Other bar and lounge concepts on MSC World America will be The Gin Project (serving gin-focused cocktails), Elixir (mixology bar), Masters of the Sea (classic British pub), the Coffee Emporium, and the Jean-Phillipe Chocolate shop and Café (serving chocolates and coffee).

Numerous Pool Areas - MSC World America will offer six themed pools and 14 hot tubs. One pool to be indoors, with a retractable roof.
Kids Clubs - These supervised spaces for kids/teens ages infants to 17, will offer fun areas for kids to play/meet fellow travelers their own age.
New Entertainment Areas - Three entertainment venues will house all-new shows and entertainment.
Multiple Stateroom Options - Numerous comfortable stateroom options, including Infinite Ocean View cabins and connecting family staterooms.
MSC Yacht Club - The MSC Yacht Club is MSC Cruises’ special ship-within-a-ship area. The large Yacht Club on MSC World America features suites, a dedicated lounge and restaurant, a private pool and sun deck, and 24-hour concierge/butler service.

One of the revolutionary new experiences on board MSC World America will be The Harbor on Deck 20 of the ship. This new outdoor area is designed with families in mind. Besides great ocean views, The Harbor will offer a water park, comfortable areas to relax, the High Trail course and zip line, sensory play areas for kids, and the Harbor Lighthouse—a themed playground area. The Harbor will also offer food trucks at sea, serving snacks and refreshments, with well-shaded seating areas and great sea views.

MSC World America will sail from MSC Cruises’ brand new, state-of-the-art terminal at PortMiami, which is set to be the largest cruise terminal in North America once complete.
For its inaugural season, MSC World America will sail 7-night Eastern/Western Caribbean itineraries, all visiting MSC Cruises’ new private island Ocean Cay in the Bahamas. Eastern Caribbean to include visits to Puerto Plata, San Juan, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. Western Caribbean voyages to include visits to Costa Maya, Cozumel, Roatan, and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.
