Meet Rover, Chief Dog Officer to Icon of the Seas
It’s no ruff life on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas for Rover, the ship’s new Cheif Dog Officer and crew family dog. The cruise line announced the new coveted paw-sition last week as Icon of the Seas made its grand arrival at its new home at the Port of Miami.
Royal Caribbean shared the following video to social media announcing the arrival of Icon of the Seas new important crew member:
Rover is a five-month-old Golden Retriever. He is onboard with Alison Hubble, the Chief of Staff on Icon of the Seas. According to the cruise line, Rover’s job will be bringing happiness to the crew members and guests onboard the ship, enjoying walks around the deck, and spending time in the bridge assisting Captain Loy.
Rover will be on hand to welcome Icon of the Seas guests on the ship’s first passenger cruise on January 27, 2024. The ship will spend its inaugural season sailing 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises from Miami.
