Icon of the Seas Arrives at PortMiami
An Icon is home! Today, Royal Caribbean’s new ship Icon of the Seas made its first-ever arrival in PortMiami. The ship is slated to make its official debut on January 27, 2024.
Local residents, cruise line enthusiasts, and Royal Caribbean executives/employees were on hand to watch as Miami’s newest resident arrived in style with celebratory fireboat salutes, banner planes in flight, and a community celebration at Pérez Art Museum.
With guests coming onboard in less than 20 days, Icon of the Seas crew will continue making final preparations in Miami ahead of an iconic naming celebration and first cruise.

Icon of the Seas will offer an all-encompassing lineup of experiences that combines the best of every vacation. The ship has eight neighborhoods, first-of-their-kind adrenaline-pumping thrill activities, seven pools, more than 40 restaurants/bars, and entertainment options across air, ice, water and theater.
Starting later this month, vacationers can select from Icon of the Seas’ 7-night Eastern or Western Caribbean adventure from Miami. Most itineraries call on Royal Caribbean’s private island Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas.
