Disney Crusie Line Shares New Dining Experiences Coming to Disney Treasure

Disney Cruise Line has shared new details about the dining experiences coming to its upcoming ship Disney Treasure. Guests sailing on the new ship can anticipate a delicious journey that combines Disney Cruise Line’s signature service and world-class cuisine with tastes from beloved Disney stories. 

Among the highlights is an adult lounge themed to “The Aristocats”, a heartwarming “Guardians of the Galaxy” dinner offering, a “Coco”-inspired menu, and premium sweet treats straight out of “Zootopia”. Following is a look at these exciting new venues on Disney Treasure.

Scat Cat Lounge

The Scat Cat Lounge is an adults-only venue, with the theme of an old-school jazz club, themed to the Walt Disney Animation Studios film “The Aristocats” song “Ev’erybody Wants to be a Cat”.  The space will feature an assortment of hanging lanterns and a paw print-adorned baby grand piano.  The lounge is a direct extension of the Grand Hall and will take from it Agrabah-inspired architecture with a complementary color palette and curated décor. Symbols of cats, both hidden and overt, throughout the space, will help bring the animated adventure to life. 

Scat Cat Lounge’s delicious craft cocktail menu features a number of exciting beverages. 

Served to sip from a French-style ceramic bowl, the Créme de la Créme Martini will fuse cognac and chocolate into a dessert cocktail. The Cat Drink will combine clarified bourbon, amaro, Aperol, and fresh lemon into a translucent cocktail that shows off hand-crafted drinkware that will be embossed with the image of a cat. Ideal for two or more guests, The Turkish Tea Experience will honor the Agrabah-inspired architecture of the Grand Hall with a tea-based cocktail presented in a bejeweled teapot and gold-detailed teacups. 

“Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix”

Worlds of Marvel, the cruise line’s Marvel-themed dining experience, will host Disney Treasure guests for two nights each sailing. A new themed offering, “Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix”, will celebrate the many Super Heroes who keep the world safe. The dinner story features Marvel’s Groot as DJ, and themed Marvel trivia and other games.  

Guests on Disney Treasure will also experience “Avengers: Quantum Encounter,” a fan-favorite cinematic dining adventure that follows Ant-Man and The Wasp as they work to protect new Quantum Core technology from a fearsome foe. 

Plaza de Coco

At the dining venue Plaza de Coco, an array of artful dishes will transport guests to the picturesque town depicted in the Pixar Animation Studios film, “Coco.” Traditional recipes from the Rivera family’s kitchen will guide a menu that will capture the festive flavors of Miguel’s colorful world for two unique, celebratory evenings. 

The musical meal will begin with appetizer options including Abuelita Elena Shrimp Diabla and Chorizo Street Croquettes. Main dished to include Luisa’s Pollo Asado, Enrique’s Port Wine Braised Center Cut Beef Short Rib, Pan-Seared Adobo Spiced Sea Bass, a Blistered Poblano Pepper stuffed with Oaxaca cheese, or Green Parsley Grilled Snapper. Plaza de Coco’s dessert menu includes a Margarita Lime Cheesecake, Mexican Chocolate Tart, or Warm Coconut Tres Leches.

Jumbeaux’s Sweets

Jumbeaux’s Sweets will serve up specialty treats inspired by the diverse inhabitants from Disney Animation’s “Zootopia”. Here, guests can enjoy a selection of more than 35 flavors of handmade gelato, ice cream, plant-based frozen desserts, and sorbets. 

Among the features is Judy Hopps Carrot Cupcake (spiced carrot cake layered between lemon frosting, white chocolate crème, and blueberry compote) as well as Nick Wilde Raspberry ‘n Cream Cupcake (a red velvet sponge cake paired with vanilla frosting).  

Disney Treasure Launch 

Disney Treasure’s maiden voyage is slated to depart on December 21, 2024. The ship will spend its inaugural season sailing Eastern and Western cruises from Port Canaveral. Bookings for all sailings on Disney Treasure through May 2026 are now open.
