Carnival Cruise Line has shared new 2026/2027 deployment plans, including the first wave of sailings for summer 2026 in Europe and Alaska as well as special solar eclipse sailings. Bookings for these new sailings are open today.

Following is a look at the upcoming season from Carnival Cruise Line.

2026 Europe Season on Carnival Legend

Carnival Legend will spend the summer of 2026 in Europe. The season begins with a 14-day Transatlantic voyage from Miami on May 24, 2026, and visits Liverpool, Holyhead, and Dublin, before arriving in Dover (London).

The ship will sail nine cruises in total from Dover for the season, with varied itineraries that span 9-12 days, and six cruises of either nine- or 12-day itineraries from Civitavecchia (Rome).

From Dover, Carnival Legend’s Northern Europe sailings include port stops in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, the British Isles, and ports in Ireland and Scotland, and one cruise with four stops in Iceland. Scandinavia and Baltic cruises on Carnival Legend will visit ports in Germany, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, and Belgium. Western Europe cruises on Carnival Legend from Dover include visits to Portugal, Spain, and France.

From Civitavecchia (Rome), Carnival Legend will offer nine-day and 12-day sailings to Italy, the Greek Isles, Turkey, and Croatia. Depending on the itinerary, ports of call include Istanbul, Kusadasi, Athens, Mykonos, Naples, Split, and Dubrovnik.

Carnival Legend’s final cruise from Europe in 2026 will be a 14-day Carnival Journeys voyage departing Nov. 1, 2026, from Civitavecchia to Tampa, with visits to Cartagena, Malaga, Gibraltar, and Bermuda.

For the first time, Carnival is introducing a special 11-day Carnival Journeys Eclipse cruise featuring stops in Spain, Portugal, and France on Carnival Legend. The voyage will sail from Dover, England on August 9, 2026, just in time for the total solar eclipse on Aug. 12, 2026, when the ship is at sea. Ports of call on this bucket list voyage include Paris, St. Peter Port, Vigo, Lisbon, Porto, Bordeaux, and Brussels.

“The chance to see a total solar eclipse while having fun exploring the cultural richness of Spain, Portugal and France aboard Carnival Legend, is a truly special opportunity – among a lineup of many phenomenal cruises,” said Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line. “And as the popularity of Carnival Legend’s 2024 Europe sailings prove, it’s never too soon for our loyal guests to start planning their next summer vacation.”

2026 Alaska Season on Carnival Spirit and Carnival Miracle

Carnival Miracle will join Carnival Spirit sailing from Seattle to Alaska in the summer of 2026.

Seven-day Alaska sailings departing every Thursday on Carnival Miracle will begin on May 7, 2026. Carnival Miracle will cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, visit Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, as well as Victoria.

Two special Carnival Journeys sailings will take place aboard Carnival Miracle. A nine-day cruise will sail the Inside Passage with a visit to Sitka. A similar 10-day Carnival Journeys cruise sails the Inside Passage and visits Icy Strait Point.

Alaska sailings on Carnival Spirit will also cruise Tracy Arm Fjord, with stops in Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, as well as Victoria. Sailings begin April 28, 2026, and continue through Sept. 15, 2026.

When Carnival Spirit returns to Seattle on Sept. 23, 2026, the ship will offer a 15-day round-trip Carnival Journeys cruise to Hawaii, with stops in Honolulu, Nawiliwili, Kahului, Maui, and Hilo, as well as a visit to Victoria.

Also new will be four Carnival Journeys cruises that transit the Pamama Canal to reposition Carnival Miracle and Carnival Spirit before and after the 2026 summer in Alaska. The cruises feature visits to Cabo San Lucas, Puntarenas, and Cartagena.

Carnival Spirit’s 16-day Carnival Journeys cruises take the ship to Seattle from its Mobile, Ala. homeport on April 12, 2026, then back to Mobile on Oct. 8, 2026 departure. These are the first Carnival cruises offered connecting the two cities.

Carnival Miracle will reposition from Tampa on April 11, 2026, and depart Seattle on Sept. 26, 2026, on a 16-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal repositioning cruise ending in Galveston.

Carnival will once again offer Alaska itineraries from San Francisco in 2026. Those itineraries will be available at a future date.
