Bookings Open for Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas
Royal Caribbean International shared new information and booking details for its next Icon Class ship, Star of the Seas. The highly-anticipated ship will make its debut in August 2025 sailing from Port Canaveral.
Bookings for sailings on Star of the Seas are open today for Crown & Anchor Society members and will go on sale tomorrow, December 6, 2023, for all guests.
Star of the Seas will spend its inaugural season sailing 7-night Western and Eastern Caribbean voyages from the Central Florida homeport. Depending on the itinerary, port stops include visits to Perfect Day at CocoCay (Royal Caribbean’s own private destination in the Bahamas), Basseterre, Cozumel, Philipsburg, Roatan, or San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The new ship will offer something for travelers of all ages, and provide the best of every vacation. Star of the Seas will have eight neighborhoods, including Thrill Island, Chill Island, AquaDome, and the open-air Central Park. Onboard, guests can enjoy the more than 40 bars and restaurants, and cutting-edge entertainment via air, ice, water, and theater.
As with fellow Icon Class ship Icon of the Seas, highlights coming to Star of the Seas include the Category 6 waterpark’s six record-breaking waterslides, and the Crown's Edge (part skywalk, ropes course, and thrill ride). Other ship highlights will include swim-up bar Swim & Tonic, Cloud 17 adults-only retreat, and The Hideaway’s one-of-a-kind infinity pool.
Families will enjoy Star of the Sea’s Surfside neighborhood, designed for younger travelers with water activities, dedicated restaurants, and even a special bar for adults, The Lemon Post.
According to an announcement from the cruise line, with “Star making its debut in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Royal Caribbean is doubling down on the revolutionary combination of every vacation that was first introduced on Icon and which continues to create unprecedented consumer demand. The two world’s best vacations in two of the world’s top travel destinations, Icon in Miami and Star in the greater Orlando area, will introduce an unparalleled lineup that mark the next bold moment in the new era of vacations and for Royal Caribbean.”
New experiences and ship highlights coming to Star of the Seas will be revealed by Royal Caribbean at a later date.
