Editorial Policy

All of our articles are original, assigned by our editors, and written by professional travel writers whom we consider the best in the business. (When they’re not writing for us, they write for some of the leading newspapers and magazines in the world.)

They travel on the ships and to the destinations they cover — we never write about things we haven’t seen or experienced. All of our recommendations — including those for cruise ships, cruise lines, hotels, restaurants, and sightseeing options — are selected carefully by our writers and editors as a result of this firsthand reporting.

We pay our impressive team of writers for their work and, although we do allow them to accept discounts and complimentary hotels, meals, and cruises, this never influences our coverage. In addition, unlike some publications, we would never accept payment for inclusion in our articles. We consider our editorial judgment to be an integral part of the service we provide.

Our staff works hard to deliver up-to-date information that meets a high standard, and we have a rigorous fact-checking process in place to confirm that all of our information is — to the best of our knowledge — accurate on the date it is published. That said, we suggest that you call ahead whenever possible to ensure that nothing has changed since publication.

In addition, we welcome your suggestions, stories, feedback, and comments. Please feel free to send us an email anytime at hello@cruiseline.com.
