About the Ship: Carnival Liberty is one of Carnival Cruise Line’s larger-sized vessels. The ship made its debut in 2005 and was last refurbished in 2011 to receive Carnival’s ‘Fun Ship’ upgrades. The ship is home to casual eateries, entertainment spots for kids and adults, and several great places to relax and enjoy the Caribbean sunshine.
When cruising at full capacity, Carnival Liberty accommodates up to 3,765 passengers and 1,180 crew. There are 1,489 total cabins divided into 32 category types.
Activities + Entertainment: With the number of exciting amenities on Carnival Liberty, finding something to do during your days at sea will not be a problem for travelers of any age. Onboard highlights include two main pools, three whirlpools, an aquapark featuring the ‘Twister’ waterslide, a sports deck, an arcade, kids and teens clubs, a shopping arcade, the Serenity adults area, a casino, and a full-service spa.
Entertainment options on Carnival Liberty include Dive-In movies at the Seaside Theatre, ‘Hasbro - The Game Show,’ Broadway-style music reviews, and comedy shows at Punchliner Comedy Club. Guests can also participate in Carnival staple activities like the Mega Deck Party, Sailaway Party, karaoke, and bingo. In addition, adults can enjoy any of the six onboard bars, including RedFrog Rum Bar, Alchemy Bar, BlueIguana Cantina Tequila Bar, Piano Bar, Skybox Sports Bar, and the Casino Bar.

You will find many of Carnival’s signature eateries and a selection of unique dining options. Included restaurants on Carnival Liberty are Guy’s Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Pizza Pirate, Lido Marketplace, Swirls, Mongolian Wok, Carnival Deli, Sweet Spot, and the Main Dining Room. In addition, specialty options include Seafood Shack, Steakhouse, Chef’s Table, and the Coffee Bar.
