A Pleasant Experience

This was a great trip. We brought our two children and were concerned about them getting bored, but that didn't happen at all. The Kids program was fantastic and kept the children busy and engaged. We loved the schedule, having our final day be at sea was perfect for relaxing and getting packed. The food was fantastic, abundant and privided plenty of veriety and choices. The best part of the trip was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it made for a great week. The only thing I would have liked was to have had more information on the shore excersions ahead of time. What we received was about one sentence on each option and made it difficult to decide what we should do on each island.

Fantastic Family Experience

The ship was fantastic. The kids loved it! The ship was so stable that you didn't even feel it moving. I loved the variety of activities, food options and the Starbucks right on the ship!

Nice price, marginal experience

I have been on a number of cruises and this one was a disappointment. This ship itself was very beautiful and new but the layout was terrible. None of the non-stateroom decks went all the way through so you had to go up and down all the time to find things. The service was marginal and there were extra service charges for everything from ice cream and desserts to room service. The children's program was "included" in the cost but very disorganized; we never did find a person around who could help actually register our kids even though there were a lot of kids on the ship. Usually the food is one of the best parts about a cruise, but the food on this ship was adequate at best. The buffet was awful and the formal dining room was only "ok". The formal nights were a disappointment as they didn't enforce the dress code; there were actually people in the dining room on the formal nights wearing jeans and shorts. Probably the biggest concern I had was safety. In light of recent issues with cruise ships sinking I was shocked that on a 7 day cruise we didn't have a lifeboat drill until the LAST night on the ship.
