Get away from King's Wharf as soon as you get there - nothing there but a prison, a pretty useless mall and a rocky manmade beach. We took a relaxing boat tour from the wharf to Hamilton, passing by some beautiful islands and houses on the way. Hamilton is kind of a fun place, if only for the sight of everyone wearing the famous Bermuda shorts as business attire. We grabbed lunch at a deli and had a lovely picnic in the park. Apparently some of the beaches on the south side of the island are quite spectacular but unfortunately we didn't have time to make it down there.
Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas
Nothing here but a beach, but it's a pretty nice one and worth getting off the boat for. I would avoid renting the overpriced snorkel gear as there didn't seem to be a whole lot of things to sea underwater, but the $20 giant inflatable party float was a fun time.
There is basically nothing to do in Nassau that we were able to discern other than the usual shops full of expensive jewelry and tacky souvenirs. We took a taxi tour over to Atlantis on Paradise Island that was pretty nice; luckily our driver was very knowledgeable and had access to areas that were (supposedly) off-limits to people just wandering in off the street.
