Carnival Sensation

June 2017 - 5 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Sensation

The ship is older so I wasn't expecting luxury. I just wish the pool was a little bit bigger it was always crowded when I wanted to go in. The food was ok but hey I was never hungry lol. Kabir, the director, was a lot of fun. He hosted a lot of activities I thought they were fun. Not a bad experience at all for my first cruise. Our housekeeper Kristina was absolutely amazing the most friendliest service I've ever received from a housekeeper! She needs to be promoted or something!!

Cruise tips

Grand Turk Island

The water was beautiful in this island but we most of our time in the pool by margaritaville! After two days of being in salt water I needed a break lol.

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

This island was beautiful! The water was so clear and the sand was so soft. I loved it. They provide free lunch since the cruise owns the island. There are also activities hosted on the island by the cruise director. We spent the whole day in the water and making memories!!!

Nassau, Bahamas

I have to say Nassau was my most favorite island. I've seen a lot of negative reviews and made me a little nervous but still went with a positive attitude. My son and I walked deep in the island away from the ships and were among the locals. It was our most memorable experience since we got to really see how they live and their culture. We went to a local grocery store and it was pretty interesting.sometimes you have to appreciate the smaller things. Anyone can go to a resort and experience what you would in the US but we chose to mingle with the locals. It wasn't pretty but you get to see how Bahamians really live and not what all other tourists experience.
