May 2015 - 7 Night Southern Caribbean (San Juan Roundtrip) Cruise on Carnival Liberty
It was okay!

Sail date: May 17, 2015
It was a decent cruise, the islands/excursions were good. Personally,
I was disappointed smoking was allowed inside the casino and
some clubs. This would eliminate me from taking another Carnival
Cruise.The entertainment was good.The Cruise Director Felipe is hilarious. Comparing it to my most recent cruise on another cruise line for
the same amount of money, IN MY OPINION, it doesn't match up.
Regarding gratuities, which are included, I think Carnival should write
or say "if the service is exceptional" be kind to your waiter or steward.
Also suggest tipping on the excursions. My heart went out to some
of the excursion staff, funny, knowledgeable, good job, no tip, but I
can't save the world!!!! I realize some cultures might not know about
tipping, but Americans do or should!! I wouldn't discourage anyone
from taking this cruiseline, but if you have another cruiseline to compare
????? something to think about. The bad, cabin wasn't 5 star clean,
food (in our opinion was bland??) bottled wine priced high?? SMOKING,
customer service good and bad. The good, Serenity Deck, excursions,
entertainment.

Scenic tour and beach. Make sure you're not taken to a beach with seaweed. Our beach was great!

Carnival Liberty
Look for the glittering male and female to find the restrooms. They are there but you must locate them!! Same for the different rooms, glittering in script, difficult to read. If you're a bottled water drinker as in all ships big bottle high priced but worth it to me for the convenience.
