We have cruised eight times ; always with carnival, so we thought we knew what to expect- friendly staff, excellent food, fast service...etc. Instead we found that the food in the dinning room was rarely cooked properly, stringy chewy lobster, a lop sided souflet with the consistancy of under cooked eggs, and the orders were always wrong, by the third day we found ourselves eating only from the buffet and pizza shop. if you order room service expect them to get somthing wrong, or all of it wrong, every time, DO NOT BUY THE SODA CARDS they cost a lot add on the tip up front and then act like you're asking them to change the color of the sun when you order a soda in stead of a drink, some times they would take our soda order and never return....in theory if you have 3-4 sodas a day you could get your re-coup your money...good luck getting them to actually getting more than one or two.....the only really good thing about the cruise was getting off the boat. Key West was fun, lots to see and do, and the Mayan Ruins of Tullum in Mexico were beyond belief....but do your self a favor DONT TAKE THIS AMATURE SUB-PAR CRUISE....save your money and flydown to Keywest, or Mexico.....oh but should you be traveling with kids, and you still want to take thise cruise after reading this review....be sure to try the water slide....its a blast!!!
