This was our first cruise. The overall offering on the Carnival Liberty way exceeded our expectations. The formal dining room was superlative both in food and service and the other dining venues were great. We did not patronize the casino or the bars so could not comment on their quality. The stateroom-we had an outside unit-was great, the service excellent. We attended one show and found it to be of professional quality.. The ship was operated in a professional manner. It very stable in moderate seas-we had no "rough" weather. It was interesting to me to witness the mechanics of the arrival and departure process-controlling the ship with side thrusters, etc. The ship was clean and well maintained (new).
