Sapphire Princess - To be honest, I think a Mini Suite is well worth it. It was maybe only $100 difference when we booked it, but it's worth it for a 7 day cruise. Lots of room, and the balcony views are amazing.
All balcony locations will be GREAT for an Alaskan cruise. The ship actually does a full 360 turn so that both sides will see everything. So worth it!
