Good docking location, you can see the city on your own and save big money on the shore excursion plans. Take a local bus for $1.25 to cable beach and enjoy, or walk downtown and visit water tower via Queen anne's staircase.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

Poor docking location for individual exploration. Not walkable to town. Definitely book an excursion or you could be bored on board! Recommend the Lucayan kayak trip, VERY easy paddle and great beach after.
