The port is nice , lots of shopping options We did the dunns river falls and dolphine cove excursion through royal Caribbean, we loved the falls but didnt care about the dolphins cove , we paid extra to swim with the dolphins th
Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)
No need for excursion here , the beach is nice , lots of seating, wet and splash for the kids and lots of food , nice native bands all around , thank you royal Caribbean
No excursion here but the port was clean and organized
The port was nice lots of shopping, we did the fury catameran snorkling excurtion , was wonderful experience, the staff was amazing and there was lots of drinks served, nice and fun beach stop , this excursion was 4 hrs only so it gave us lots of time to explore the island , book a taxi for an island tour you will be back in time for the ship if you hit the forum shops then no time to tour the island
Cozumel was my favorite port , lots of shopping options in port itself so if you attend the shopping seminar in the cruise you will find mostly all shops they mentioned in port so save your time dont go to the forum shops its all available in port Shopping was more expensive than here in the states so all we got was little souvenirs We did the fury catamaran snorkeling and beach break through royal Caribbean, this was only 4 hrs so it worked out for us as we did some shopping after, it was a great choice , the crew was amazing , helpful and informative. The excursion included drinks ( pop and margaritas) they wont serve margaritas till after snorkeling so everyone will be safe , the water was so clean and clear not too much fish verity to see though. The beach was nice , quite , and lots of water activities and beach inflatables for kids and adults , no food included so there was a burger station to get burger , potato salad and pasta salad ( unlimited as soon as you keep your plate ) for $11 , was good food tough . Once we got back we took a taxi for $8 each way and hit the forum shops , which to us was waste of time i wish we knew , we would had a taxi to tour the island , our driver said it takes two hrs to see the whole island Overall Cozumel was a very nice island to see
Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)
Labadee was nice , royal Caribbean have their own beach area that was clean , organized , relaxing and they even have a water play area for the kids to enjoy , there was lots of beach area to chose from but we didnt know till the end , we also weren't told the the buffet is only for certain time , i think it was from 11-1:30 , or something like that and it wasnt stated in the cruise campus either . plenty of food all barbecue options , some salads , fruits and cookies, no pizza so if your kids dont eat barbecue pack something from the ship or head back for lunch Dont forget your water shoe the beach is so rocky and i was glad that i found this note here so we all had our water shoes on We didnt do excursion though its a perfect place to do that since there is more things to do in the other ports of call
We did the dunns river fall and dolphins cove excursion through royal Caribbean , our tour guide , Norm ,was so carful about everyone and everything, he made sure that all is happy , our guide at the dunns river fall , Miguel, was so nice , careful and made sure every single member of the family experience hiking the falls and enjoy every single moment of it , not to forget the videographer who did great job . the reason why i gave it three stars is that there was nothing to see at the dolphin cove , no show or anything else and got to pay $60 extra to swim with the dolphins , so save your money and pay in advance for swimming with dolphins through the company it would be cheaper
