this ship is designed great. i have also traveled on the ncl pearl (built 1year after the jewel) they almost exactaly the same. no bowling ally on the jewel however

My age 22. The ship was great and as always NCL crew was the best. Been on 4 NCL cruises and several other lines now and have never found better. The food was good and finally NCl upgraded the beds to the new "bliss bed" they were a little to firm for my taste however a million times better then the typical cruise bed.
Freestyle cruising is the BEST! Eat when you want, what you want, with who you want ect. Its your vacation do what you want

Cruise tips
caymen has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, however if its low cost shopping your looking for caymen is not for you. jewelry stores on every corner with the cheapest price i saw for 10,000!!! there are some sovuneier shops however all seemed to be overpriced. If your looking to phurchase alochol THIS IS THE PLACE!! i have never seen such low prices in my life a bottol of absolute going for 9.99!
loved cozumel and the beaches there!! great time i would go back in a second. we didnt take any shore excursions, rather just shoped and took a cab to the beach. (its alot cheaper then booking the beach party thru ncl and its at the same place) if your looking for shopping this place is the best. alot of places to shop, with local vendore who are always willing to barter on price!
