Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is beautiful. I wish we'd had more time there. We did the excursion to the Mayan Ruines of Tulum and that was very interesting. The beach at the ruins site is breath-taking! It does require a 45-minute ferry ride to the mainland and another 45-minute shuttle ride to Tulum, but the tour guide we had, Lily, was very good.

Key West, Florida

Although Key West is smaller than I anticipated, it is a quaint little town. We enjoyed seeing the Southern most point of the continental US. Try the chocolate-covered key lime pie on a stick! We took the Discover Key West excursion which included admission to the aquarium and shipwreck museum. The aquarium is ok although smaller than most aquariums. The shipwreck museum was kinda boring. If we ever go again, we will probably take another excursion, probably the one where you get on/off the train/shuttle at any stop you want to.
