Enchantment of the Seas

January 2016 - 4 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Enchantment of the Seas

Cruise ship is 3 stars...Weather was bad

We stayed in a inside stateroom at Deck 8.

Stateroom is about 10x8, with enough closet space for 3, bathroom is 5x5 at most. Room is very outdated, I could compare to a Motel 8 room from early 90s. It had a nice flat TV but nothing amazing.

We knew we were staying at the worst room in the ship, but as we passed through the rest of the room in our level, they looked all the same to me.

We left on Jan 4 and returned on Jan 8. Weather was terrible, it rained on us almost every day, winds of 30 and 40 mph. and this affected us a lot. They didn't let us stop at Cocokay and Nassau was just very windy and rainy.

We were first time cruisers, for our taste the ship moved too much, we would wake up in the middle of the night due to the doors closing and opening, things falling and our cabinets door constantly opening and closing. We don't get sea sick, but it was just very uncomfortable for us. This happened almost every time we were on sea, but a lot!

If you have the chance to go and get one of the rooms at the bottom and back of the ship, that's where it feels that less.

Food was 4 stars, kid's entertainment was 4 stars, pool area is very nice and adult entertainment was good too.

We had a 6 year old, they had food for her age and tons to do.

Do not pick inside staterooms, I know they are cheaper and tempting but for a hundred dollars more, get something with a view or a suite.

Service was acceptable...I was expecting a little more to do since we were inside basically through the whole trip, but it was limited.
