Review summary

I was initially concerned I would get bored on this cruise, but I was pleasantly surprised. Lots to do and see.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Very easy. Viking had representatives all around the port showing the way. Too bad we had to tender. The authorities should build a short bridge since ship was so close to shore

Spa was good but gym equipment is limited. Lots of public space for viewing

Very well laid out.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Small cabin with minimal storage space, but adequate for us.

Ship tip

All the veranda cabins are essentially the same so try to get the chaepest available.

Ports of call

Greenwich (London), England

5 out of 5
Somewhat long from airport, but right near DLR tube. London is a great place to visit

Rosyth (Edinburgh), Scotland

Moored at Newhaven, which is far from downtown, and needed very long tender. Included tour was not up to par. Edinburgh is a great place to visit.

Kirkwall, Orkney Islands, Scotland

Good included tour. Shuttle from port was easy.

Lerwick, Shetland Islands, Scotland

Did included tour and Ancient Civilizations of the Shetlands. Both good.
