Review summary

Ship, food and staff were excellent. Tours were in general poor. Hong Kong pre tour was poorly organized and over priced. Beijing extension was top shelf with wonderful sites and guides. Optional dinner was spectacular. Included lunches were very good.

We partiipated in the pre -tour in Hong Kong. The hotel was fabulous but hte tour was awful and the embarkation process from the Hotel was utter chaos.

Xiamen included tour was acceptable. Optional tour to Hakka Toulu only visited two of the three sites detailed in all of the literature. No reason was provided. Box lunch was awful!

Included tour consisted of a park (nothing to do or see) for 30 mins., an overlook and 20 mins. at the Okinawa Memorial at which the Museum had already closed. Optional tour was excellent.

Not worth the stop. Included tour covered two parks and a bridge view. Guide was awful with poor language skills. Only highlight was Viking staff surprising us at one of the parks with tea and pastries.

The opposite of Hong Kong. Everything was first rate (guides, sites, logistics and lunches). A wonderful world class experience. These relates to the included tour and Beijing extension.
