This was my Bucket List trip. It was wonderful and well worth the money. I loved the small ship experience and there was so much history and culture on this trip.

Review summary

This was one of my favorite cruises. It was expensive, but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I was met at the airport and personally escorted onto the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The ship had a small outdoor buffet for breakfast and lunch that was just right. Then I ate in the main dining room for dinner.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
As a small ship traveling through many canals and under many bridges, there was not too many activities.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
There was a pianist every evening and at some ports, local entertainment came on board. A string quartet from Austria and Gypsy Dancers from Budapest.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Top quality service!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was the first time on a 'long boat'. It was well laid out and comfortable.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable and always clean.

Ship tip

Up on the top deck, it can be windy and cold. I went in November so it was cold.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I was escorted off the ship by the Hotel Manager. It was raining and he held the umbrella for me so I wouldn't get wet.
