Review summary

Symphony is a great ship. I did feel as though it was crowded at times but it was at capacity since we sailed during a week with a Monday school holiday. Service and entertainment were excellent as always on Royal Caribbean.

MDR was excellent as always. Windjammer was good but I was disappointed there was no designated gluten free hot food bar although there was a gluten free dessert bar. They could at least mark the gluten free items on the labels.

Hairspray and Flight were both outstanding! All of the other shows were good as well.

We had an extremely good wait staff in the MDR. Every meal was delivered on time and as ordered. Our room steward, Jeff, was one of the best we have ever had.

It is the last boardwalk balcony and overlooks the aqua theater. There is some noise from the theater which might be annoying if you were trying to watch TV which we never do on a cruise. I had no problem going to sleep one night while Hiro was going on outside.

St Thomas is a fun port with some good shopping. We did an excursion through Shore Excursions Group which was good. It mainly took us into town to shop and to Mountain Tops.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

St Kitts is a beautiful island! We spent several hours on the beach at the Marriott Resort through Resort For A Day. Had our own cabana. Extremely nice facilities.
