Review summary

This cruise came highly recommended to us from friends.  Our cabin was very comfortable and rommier than I excepted...balcony was large!  Plenty space to hang clothes and a lot of drawers and shelves for clothes and stuff. Room was clean, clean, clean and our steward kept is straightened.

Food was good at the buffet, great at the seated dinners and really nice at the Crown Grill.  Availability of food was convenient as we missed the seated diner a few times due to our excursions. Enjoyed breakfast...so much variety.

Entertainment was fun.  Enjoyed music, piano, singing, magic and comedy. Heard 2 talks on Alaska and that was interesting.

Very nice view of the bow on TV and appreciated announcements from Captain (or whoever) for things to see as we sailed.

Crew was friendly...smiling and busting their butts everyday for us.  Appreciate that!

Onboard Activities

Some of the activities were connected to sell, sell sell jewelry, art, cruises. We just spent so much on this vacation and I was like enough is enough

Entertainment

Two acts that left a lot to be desired: the violin duo and Christian Beers guitar playing and singing...had to walk out as both were very depressing.

Ship Quality

Ship and dining areas were super clean. Loved that you had to use Purell before being handed a plate in the buffet line. Good thinking!! Also, sign above toilets - "shut lid and then flush" - thanks for that. Made me feel like Princess is pressing passengers to help in the fight against illness via icky germs.

Cabin / Stateroom

More room that expected. Would like to say thank you for NOT having the hair dryer in the bathroom...perfect at the desk/vanity/by sliding door. Plenty of space for clothes: hanging, drawers and shelves. Knew bathroom would be small, but the shower was hysterical...so small...got the hang of it after second shower. I shave my legs everyday...good thing that I do yoga so I can stand on one foot and lift other leg up with knee bent. Picture not included! Lighting good with many options and thanks for the blackout curtain.

Ship tip

My tip would be to make spa appointment prior to trip if possible. I did it almost immediately upon boarding ship and barley got an appointment...glad I did.

Had a blast in Seattle day before we set sail. I think we did everything including the ferry to Bainbridge Island, Pike's Mkt, yummy seafood dinner by the water and Ferris wheel.

Train ride to White Pass a must do trip! Tram is expensive and nothing great when you get to the top.

Very sorry to miss the B. Gardens. Not a timely stop over to see them and I was disappointed.
