Christmas Caribbean Cruise by curvesonmain

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Regal Princess / Destination: Caribbean - Southern

Once onboard we were able to upgrade to a mini-suite and the room was beautiful and just what we needed for our family of 3. Loved having a balcony for my breakfast and coffee in the morning or reading my book in the afternoon between the ships activities.

My cabin steward was terrific. My cabin was kept very clean and I was happy with the size and amenities. I super loved my bed. They have incredible mattresses!

I didn't like the lack of space between the desk & bed. Otherwise it was great.

Cruise Was Great But, Princess Is Not Honest! by DaFireDude

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regal Princess / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I was upgraded to a Balcony C246 prior to boarding. Princess was having technical issues that didn't allow getting "Live" television in this cabin. At first I figured it was a glitch. I spoke with the room Steward. A day later she got back to me. It's out to mant rooms. I spoke with the Desk. They were going to get back to me. Then another visit to the Desk to no avail. By now, the cruise was almost over. Then I spoke with the Manager of Desk. It was explained that Princess knew of the issue and would provide some kind of compensation. When we received our final statement, my Wife and I both received a $25.00 credit. OK, that's something. But, they knew the "Live" television didn't work prior to our being given the cabin and didn't inform us of this issue. They hid it and didn't mention it. Somewhere up the food chain, management made a decision to be deceptive. They were not honest and up front. That is the issue. I guess I'm old fashioned, I believe in honesty!
