Review summary

I will highly recommend this cruise. The scenery was breath taking and seeing the opulence of mother nature and its display of beauty was just so touching and emotional. People were so generous and loving. We enjoyed this cruise tremendously and will do it again. We went from Vancouver and it was the best choice. I will recommend a balcony because there is so much to see. There is not one port that I can say anything negative about. All the ports have something to offer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food at the buffet repeated many times. The was not enough variety. The alcohol drinks were not great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
It did not seem to be enough to do on board. But I did not miss it as I was enjoying the views.

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
we stayed there three days pre-cruise. Love Vancouver, there is lot to do but you can also do nothing at all.

Ketchikan, Alaska

This was a busy port we did an excursion. We did the Saxman Native Village and City Tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. We saw a bear by chance and eagles galore. There was enough time to walk around after the tour. There are many shopping options but try to walk away from the initial cruise terminal are you will get better deals.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

4 out of 5
Icy Strait Whale Watching Excursion we bought this thru excursioneers. It was amazing. We saw whales, eagles, sea lions. Drew was amazing as the tour guide. There is a bus that takes you to town but you can walk there. The town is very small there is a brewery

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We did a tour of the city and the Mendenhall Glacier. It was amazing. you can go to the glacier via city bus and then walk. it is about a mile to the glacier but the walk was very nice.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
We did an excursion Skagway City and White Pass Summit. Our guide Bran Terrell was amazing. It was also the 4th of July so we saw the parade

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
We took the train from Seward. Highly recommend this tour it was about 4 hours but worth every minute of it. We spent two days in Anchorage and did many more things afterwards.
