Review summary

It was magical to be on my first Cunard ship and my first maiden voyage. I know there was no time for a shake down cruise so we were it. The first day, there were many ques and stressed out people and crew. It seemed to get better as the week long cruise sailed on. I did enjoy it, especially the lectures and spa. Lisbon was gorgeous and so glad I did the Pilgrimage in Spain. (NOTE: there was no itinerary for our 1 week cruise on here)

Ship experiences

We had good food and service, but we saw many passengers waiting for hours for cold food.

NOIR was amazing.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our steward, Rowena, was great. Ivan from Peru who was a waiter by the one day was smiling and terrific.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything looked and felt clean. Layout took some getting used too. Would be nice to have bigger lifts and more lifts.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bed was very comfortable, closet space a little tight. Shower was the best I think I ever had. TV was great. The phone should be on the DESK though.

Ship tip

Pack your good clothes. Watch the YouTubes.

Disembarkation

Was good. Even though the bus to Heathrow left late, we made it to the airport. The driver was great and we had a new bus.
