Review summary

Overall the cruise was enjoyable. It was stressful for our sister who had 2 small children with her. It would be nice if there were some accommodation for children on these cruises.

Embarkation

Embarkation went smoothly and efficiently. All the staff were so warm and welcoming.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good. We ate too much. After a few days we wished we could find more vegetables with our meals.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
There wasn't very many on board activities. I suppose this was because it was a port heavy cruise. It would be nice if there was some entertainment for small children. There wasn't a good place for them to run around and get their energy out.

Ship tip

If you have kids be prepared to entertain them in your room. Otherwise enjoy the views and the excellent service and relax a bit on your cruise.

Ports of call

Lisbon, Portugal

Cadiz (Seville), Spain

A small town that's not very touristy. It gave us a little hometown Spanish feel on our visit.

Malaga, Spain

4 out of 5

Alicante, Spain

3 out of 5
We weren't sure what else to do in Alicante other than visit the castle. It would have been nice to have an over night or a later departure time so we could actually go into Seville and see a flamenco show.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

5 out of 5
The cathedral was amazing and the beach was delightful!

Barcelona, Spain

5 out of 5
Barcelona is so big and there is so much to do. It would have been nice to have a little bit more time there.

Marseille (Provence), France

3 out of 5
Where the shuttle dropped off wasn't very exciting and we couldn't find a lot to do close by.

Monte Carlo, Monaco

2 out of 5
This place is only good if you have lots of money to spend. Otherwise it was a pain in the butt for everyone else.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
2 of our group's bags got damaged. The transportation situation was a nightmare. The cost of the Oceania transportation was outrageous. Our 3rd party transport cancelled on us and we ended up having to take a taxi. Most of the people were going to Nice anyway, so why not just stop there instead and anyone who wants to go to Monte Carlo can take a cab.
