Review summary

My dream cruise never disappointed at all it was all good even the muddy Cambodia but if you go to the Vietnam war museum my words when I came out was disturbing ! The experience left me numb I have never seen such graphic photos of war in my life it left me speechless when we came out I actually said to my wife don’t look at this next picture.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We had no tenders it was my dream cruise and it did not disappoint us at all.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We always enjoy our dining experience onboard and get involved in the dress code although it’s very relaxed these days however I hoped the menu would be more choice.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There’s always lots to do the pool is always busy on sea days the gym is great and if your up for it there’s the climbing wall lol

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The crew always put on a great show however as a frequent cruiser we have seen every show every year so a bit more variety would be great the musicians aboard are always fantastic and the hosts even better.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
This was a adult cruise but have been on this ship when it was not adult only and the kids loved it

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Never have I been disappointed with the crew always polite and they get to know your usual drink and you don’t need to ask for it.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The smaller ships are better in my personal opinion they are constantly cleaning everywhere you look.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We were in 6033 it was fine it was a inside it was spotless my only gripe would be it wasn’t a balcony lol

Ship tip

I booked all my tours with tui as it was my first Far East cruise and most tours where 10 hours and I didn’t want to take a chance doing it myself incase the ship left without me, im always onboard on time but seen folk miss the ship because they done tours on their own and was very late back.

Ports of call

Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam

5 out of 5
Never was I disappointed I always wanted to visit this place it was great however our tour guide lost 4 people I shouted out to her 3 times stop your going too fast theres old people and it was single file we waited 30 minutes until she back tracked to find the people so if you go try to keep up there’s too many bikes it’s very easy to get left behind.

Sihanoukville, Cambodia

2 out of 5
Shocking place we did the tuk tuk the tour is bad and not a nice place to see it looks like a tsunami has hit it. I wish they took us to a better tour.

Penang (Pulau Pinang), Malaysia

Disembarkation

Never had any problems with leaving the ship unless it’s a tender but every ship has that with tenders.
