Review summary

Our first time on the Koningsdam. We are avid Holland America cruise goers. This is a wonderful ship. Staff were great. Smooth ride too!

Embarkation was smooth. We got there about 1 PM and had no waiting.

Food and Dining

The food was excellent. We ate in the Dining room, Lido, NY Deli, Dive In and Pinnacle restaurants. All were excellent. Seemed the Lida was even better than in times past.

Pinnacle Grill

We dined at the Pinnacle Grill for both lunch and dinner. Highly recommend both. The steaks are fantastic. Crab cakes for appetizer were delicious. We will be back for both.

Onboard Activities

We played trivia a lot. Christina was great as well as Warren. Would like to see more activities. Seems like there are fewer now.

Entertainment

The entertainment was fantastic. We went to all the nightly shows. All were great. The ships dancers were excellent. Comedian told good clean jokes. The skinny German juggler was great. We LOVED the BB King Blues All Star Band. We listened to them every night they performed. Fantastic!

Queen's Lounge

BB King Blues All Star Band was fantastic. They had people dancing. Lots of fun. Male and female singer were both great. Highly recommend. Hope to see them again.
