Review summary

A wonderful first cruise after waiting for so long!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was a little more convoluted than previously due to the on-going pandemic. That having been said, the queues, although long at the terminal, moved quickly, and the results available by the time we relocated from Gate 10 to Gate 4. Security was a breeze, as was checking in. You currently receive your cruise cards (if you checked in on-line) when you reach your stateroom. A quick trip to your Muster Station to prove that you know where it is, and you are now asked to watch the muster video in your cabin. A better then expected experience.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on Iona could not have been more helpful!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Due to the pandemic, keeping the ship clean at all times is a mammoth task - but it was always carried out with a smile and cheerful “Hello”

Ship tip

Try to arrange to book meals as early as you can using the new onboard booking system!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We opted for the self disembarkation, and we’re off the sip and in our car by 7.20! Wow!

Traveler Photos

The aerialists in the Skydome performing in "Triboo" Stephanie Beacham giving a fun and insightful "An audience with..." Tony Hadley enthralling the crowd in the Headliners Theatre Cabin 11605 was lovely - it could have been a tad wider, but there was more than enough room. We were unable to find the socket in the bathroom, but a very nice cabin indeed. Beware - there are no drawers - only shelves!
