The RC at terminal 10 Port of Galveston was seamless for our embarkation. Arrived at our designated boarding time from exiting the car to boarding 15 minutes.

Each of the eateries delivered good quality dishes. A personal favorite was the Park Cafe for grab-n-go wraps. The Windjammer was on point with good quality, well flavored, and plentiful array of cuisines.

All the performances and the performers very professional. Musicals and interpretative dance performances not a personal favorite but well executed. Adult comedy was good (PG13) more so than adult. Live music in the Schooner Bar via piano and guitarist were good. Latin band very good.

Came to know a good amount of the staff from the Steward to the Head Chef from the Janitor to the Laundry Master.

HotS is a personal favorite vessel. Sailing her was a joy.

Comfortable, spacious, and well positioned for the activities we enjoy aboard. The balcony being an xl v. standard was a huge plus. We spent many hours enjoying the comforts of this balcony.

Ship tip

Choose your stateroom based on the activities you intend to enjoy and the proximity to your stateroom. As example: we like the fitness center, jogging track, royal promenade, and Central Park. Our deck 7 stateroom put us 1-2 decks up or down and within short walk in either direction (forward/aft) of the areas we most like visiting.
