Review summary

We sailed at about 65% according to the staff. It was a nice number, enough people to have fun at the group activities but no lines or crowds compared to full capacity.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Use the Royal Caribbean app before check-in and it was a breeze. 30min tops from arrival to on the ship

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We ate at a variety of places on board. Main dining, Windjammer, Mini-bites, Park Cafe, Sorentos and the two specialty restaurants. All the complimentary choices served good food, nothing outstanding, but good meals. We always would find something throughout the days that was really good somewhere too.

Jamie's Italian by Jamie Oliver

5 out of 5

It's not Giovanni's though, it is Jamie's Italian. I would give our experience 10 stars if I could! The food was amazing and the service matched. We will likely eat at Jamie's again.

Chops Grille

4 out of 5

Food was really good, service lacked a little. Not sure I would visit again.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Many more activities than I have heard of or seen in the past few months. I believe due to the more relaxed policies allowing guests to gather for events. The pool competitions are back, indoor parties at night, just a lot of things to do each day. Very close to pre-covid cruising!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Its not like us to knock the entertainment on Royal. They have some of the best performers and entertainers in the industry. The performers and musicians on our sailing were also top notch. The biggest issue we had was the fact that there was not an Aquatheatre show. It's irritating that Harmony has been back in service for a while and still doesn't have a complete show but Wonder got It's show. Kind of a slap in the face to Harmony as this is a main feature of the Oasis class ships.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
First time cruising with our 5 yr old so first use of Adventure Ocean. The staff was great and our son absolutely loved going.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was great as always!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Lots of cleaning still, I love the addition of more hand washing stations throughout the ship instead of just sanitizer.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Enjoyed the view of the boardwalk and aqua theater. Also had a view of the water since we were so far to the back of the ship. Downside- not near anything! If you don't like walking to the elevator or whatever activity, this location is not for you.

Ports of call

Falmouth, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Can't leave the port area without a tour which we chose not to do

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
Cruise excursion, pirate ship tour. Kid loved it, for adults it was ok

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Much more shade than in the past. We enjoyed a nice beach day

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

Disembarkation
