Crystal is a wonderful cruiseline but unfortunately I had a reaction to a facial on the 2nd day which basically ruined the rest of my cruise.

The main dining room was the best! The food and service was excellent. Didn't really care for Silk or Prego. Umi Uma was excellent!
Onboard Activities

Not too much going on. Only made it to a couple of shows. The movies in the theater were a joke. No real music by the pool. Went to the spa for a massage and facial on day 2 and had a bad reaction to the facial and spent the rest of the cruise in pain, on benadryl and out of the sun. It was horrible.

Definitely not the exciting shows you see on bigger ships. The magician was great though. It was neat that he did shows for groups of 20.
Service and Staff

The wait staff was excellent. Very friendly and attentive. Room stewardess was also very good. Room service was very quick and convenient. Disappointed in how they've handled my spa incident. Still haven't gotten a response to my email.

A little on the small side but plenty of room for your clothes.
Ship tip
Dine in the main dining room as much as possible. The food and service was wonderful.
We had to wait until 9AM before the ship was cleared. Then we were told we had to wait until the White 1 tags disembarked but all the literature said Pink 1's could leave at their leisure. Then we had to wait for them to continue to unload baggage in the customs area. We got out of there about an hour later than we expected. I felt bad for the people with early flights.
I was disappointed in my experience we were on the first cruise out in July . I just got off an NCL 3 bedroom garden villa for less money and better personal service. The crystal maitre
d was great as was our butler but everyone on NCL was very nice. The
casino host on crystal left much to be desired on NCL the wait staff in the casino treated me better. Unfortunately crystal lost me
I should have added that as far as Covid was concerned, I felt very safe. Everyone had to be vaccinated and were tested before being allowed onboard. They took your temperature before going into the dining room and everyone wore tracking devices so if you came into close contact with some that did end up with Covid, you would be notified. Didn't have to wear masks onboard unless you wanted to.
Thanks for the review. One thing we learned years ago was to stay away from the spa. Usually they are overpriced, try to sell you other items and the treatments are not always the best.
