Review summary

Overall loved the cruise and stop in SF. Will go back again to do things we missed. Loved city but don't know how anyone can afford to live there.

Embarkation

Required a wheelchair. Princess was excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room food good but not great. Selection was somewhat limited. Specialty restaurants good. Lido deck poolside food was good and easily excess able.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Entertainment fairly limited. Strange that the Casino din not have a bar but was serviced by their International Café. Not really happy about that.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Smaller and older ship than we were used to. Easy to get around. Ship appeared to be well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Very small cabin and the smallest bathroom and shower we have ever seen. Shower almost impossible to use because of its size. Sink in cabin did not drain well and only gave hot water.

Ports of call

Cartagena, Colombia

Our excursion was listed as "Easy". Having some mobility issues this was not the case. Lots of walking on uneven pavement.

Panama Canal Transit

5 out of 5
Excellent. Basic reason for choosing this cruise.

Fuerte Amador, Panama

5 out of 5
Excellent. Did nature tour in a small boat in the canal. Got up close and personal with big container ships. Saw lots of monkeys, crocs and other wildlife. Great experience.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

5 out of 5
Excellent. Saw much of Costa Rica and danced with local school children.

San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua Did not visit port

Got off the ship and stayed in port having luch and drinks on the dock. Still a good day.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Excursion included glass blowing, city tour and shopping. Had lunch on pier after the excursion. Lots of food options. Try Captain Tony's in the marina. Marina was spectacular.

San Francisco, California

5 out of 5
Stayed 3 days in SF. Did Hop on/off bus, wine tasting tours, rode cable cars, had Irish coffee at the famous Buena Vista on the wharf, bought chocolate at Ghirardelli square and had 2 excellent dinners with friends. Just be aware that SF is pricey and there was a major convention in town when we were there which made it worst. Used Uber exclusively.

Disembarkation

Usedwheel chair assistance which was a great help.
