Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse on Coral Princess

We ate at the Bayou one evening and had a great steak dinner. The cheese bread before the meal was very tasty I'm glad I didn't ask for more as it is very filling The steaks were cooked exactly the way we like them. We also ordered the loaded potatoes, they were fantastic. I don't usually add salt to my food, however the variety of salts available is intriguing and I enjoyed trying them. Dessert was excellent. Overall the service was fantastic, minimal waiting time and very friendly and attentive wait staff.

Food disappointing not worth the extra charge

We ate at the Bayou twice. It's very good, but not spectacular. The selection is limited, and there are really only a couple of choices for a steak (get the filet). Get the Gumbo YaYa. We had good luck with both of our visits, but we talked to another couple that was not happy with the way their meal was prepared.

The best (restaurant)steak I have ever eaten to date. Service was excellent and table visits appropriate by our wait staff.

Not bad, but wish it was a steakhouse! Too much weird stuff on the menu

I ordered the “carpetbagger steak” and it was as rare as it gets even though I ordered it to be medium. Lucky they took my steak back and brought me a new one that was supposed to be cooked more, but it wasn’t! I send it back for the third time and thankfully it finally cooked when the cut it butterfly style. I also ordered the peel-and-eat shrimp and they were extremely messy.

The blackened steak was delicious, the sides not so much. But I am a picky eater so other folks might enjoy the sides.

Steak was great, every thing that came with it was cold and tasteless.

The Bayou was well worth the extra cost. The filet mignon that I had was delicious, tender and flavorful. Service was top notch.
