Opus (Main) Dining Room on Celebrity Reflection

Food was excellent every day. Dewa and Melrose went above and beyond with their service.

Two factors went into this score - the food was excellent, and everything I expect from complimentary dining on Celebrity. I hear reviews from people who are disappointed with menu changes, which is understandable, and sometimes quality - which must be something that changes cruise to cruise? The organization though, oof. The individual servers all did their best, but when we sailed there were major issues with the split between anytime and set dining. In the cruise group I was in I could see it affecting a lot of people, and was a hot topic of conversation. We were a group of 7, and even though they knew this before we sailed and were reminded of it every day, they struggled every time to seat us even with reservations. I saw similar issues with 2 person couples, so it wasn’t just due to being a larger group. Meals together were taking about 2 hours, with lots of waiting around for things to happen and people getting restless. I don’t mind a long meal, but gotta keep the drinks topped up!

Nice variety on menu every evening. Loved Lobster tail night. All of our servers were great!

The wait staff was spectacular. They knew what we wanted and how to deliver. We felt they went out of there way to please us.

a bit noisy for me

The OPUS dinning room was good, but did lack variety and consistency at times. The dinning experience changed since we were last on board in January of 2020.

Always great staff and knowledgeable sommeliers. I'm a bit of a wine snob and find them so helpful in finding something new and within price point.
