Review summary

Cruise was a great time even though things closed early. Staff members were mostly pleasant. The DJ (Miguel) and some of the bartenders were excellent. However bars always "ran" out of the better alcohol- if it is unlimited to certain customers then you should not run out. Also, Bethany in entertainment was rude as our large party and others were exiting on the 3rd floor as we were told to do trying to leave the ship. She told us we had to wait until the end of the line that just never ended-which was originally no problem but it really never ended. However, some others were willing to let one of our group go at a time since we waited so long but Bethany gave such an attitude about it and refused to ask the deck above to hold the line for 10 minutes to let our party and many others go (there was a huge buildup). It is unfortunate to end our amazing time with an unfortunate attitude from a crew member. Overall we did have a great trip but the few things listed were a problem for our specific party.

Food was mediocre at best- specialty dining was really pushed and it was very annoying. I believe this is why the quality of food is just not what it used to be on many cruise lines but especially Celebrity. Also, don't offer a drink package if your bar is constantly running out of something (ex. Captain Morgan).

There could have been a little more options. Karaoke would have been fun but because we got there a few minutes late from dinner no one in our party could sign up but the same people and parties were able to sign up many times. Shouldn't there be a rule o everyone can get a chance? DJ Miguel did a phenomenal job with his mashup and music- he also went above and beyond to make my parties experience a great one by playing our requests and doing the occasional shout out. You don't want to lose him!

Service and Staff

Bartenders were slow and bars were understaffed. You can't offer a thing called unlimited drink package and not have the proper staff working it. I was being waited on by a bartender with the other 10 people ready to order- after 3 people ordered he was called away by his manager to sell a package therefore leaving us after only helping half the party.

Ship tip

Everything closes much earlier than other cruise lines- Club is done at 2 am and Casino also- If you enjoy being up late then this is not the ship for you. Food used to be better but now that the cruise lines are pushing specialty dining the food isn't what it used to be.
